Ford Focus WRC M-Sport ReplicaAdvert ID: 42780 €24,500 EUR
A truly Exceptional opportunity! This car was originally built from a brand new Focus shell by World Rally Champions M-Sport as a show car to display at WRC events and was used and photographed at numerous International rallies and events (see first photo of this car at the Monte Carlo WRC in 2009).
The specification is simply huge with over a thousand hours of work and over 17,000 pounds recently spent on parts on top of the original chassis build cost. I have lots of detailed photos but only limited to a few here, which really doesn't do it justice. The majority of the new fabrication and set-up work has been carried out by renowned Cosworth Rally Specialists Julian Godfrey Engineering.
2.1 Litre 4 Cylinder Zetec turbo built by Karl Norris Motorsport. I decided to go down this route despite being far more complex and expensive than just fitting a standard 5cyl MK2 RS engine to keep closer to the original WRC car which uses the much lighter 4cyl Zetec turbo engine.
