Description

This car was built in 2014 as a close replica of the Group A Toyota Team Europe cars used in the 1994-95 World Rally Championship to full FIA / MSA spec (MSA logbooked).

Due to its uniqueness it attracts a great deal of attention at events and, as a result, invitations to prestigious events such as Rallye Festival Trasmiera, Rallye des Vosges, Rallye Costa Brava, Rally Spirt Portugal, Rallye Gran Canaria, Gowran festival of speed and many other demonstration / legend type events in the UK and Europe, running alongside iconic cars and rally legends such as Juha Kankkunen (he has actually sat in and signed the roof inside the car), Nicky Grist and Jimmy McRae to name a few.

This car has the looks, sound and similar performance of a genuine Works car but without the huge running costs associated.
It has seen relatively little use since new (tarmac only) and has been built and maintained to a very high standard as the photos and finishing record of the car clearly show.

It was built from a bare shell on a spit, fully lightened, seam welded with jacking points / sill stands and has a full FIA spec Custom Cages roll cage and seat mountings.

A new engine was rebuilt to Group A spec last year (only 2 events since) using some of the best machinists and parts available.

A brief spec consists of:

Thick wall block, CP Carilio pistons / rods, Supertech big valve / ported cylinder head and custom grind group A spec cams by Piper, -AN fittings and braided hose throughout, bespoke front mounted intercooler and pipework, Link G4+ ECU with anti-lag / launch control etc. The turbo was also rebuilt 1 event ago.

The gearbox is from an ex-Jonny Milner car, fitted with a Quaife straight cut close ratio gear kit, OS Giken twin plate clutch and TRD gear linkage.

Suspension and engine mounts are fully poly bushed, with solid diff mount. The AVO mono tube suspension was also fully rebuilt at the same time as the engine.

The car has many Group A / Works replica parts including bespoke side exit exhaust, aero type fuel filler, TTE carbon fibre mirrors, TTE air box, TTE spec turbo restrictor (legal version!), TTE lamp pods and cooling system, carbon / Kevlar wheel arch liners and tank guard / 8mm dural sump guard.

Inside is a light weight heater, Stilo WRC intercom, Avanti map light, Carbon co-driver foot rest, aircraft spec switch panel / circuit breakers, Sparco wheel, flocked door cards and wilwood hydralulic handbrake.

A Works replica dashboard (flocked) has just been completed, with full complement of Stack gauges and quick disconnect aircraft connector.

This is far from a road going car with all the safety gear, there are too many bespoke parts and modifications to list. A full spec / photos are available on request to serious prospective buyers.

Will come with 2 sets of 18” revolutions wheels, with Pirelli slicks / Kumho intermediate tyres and set of sill stands.
Spares include gearbox, cylinder head / cams, radiator, brake pads, spark plugs, leads, etc.

Comes complete with fully documented / photographed build with all receipts since the car was built.
In addition to this I have hundreds of photos of works cars / parts to enable manufacture if any potential future owner desires.

I also have a Toyota Alpinestars race suit and several Castrol jackets which I could include for the right deal.

This is a unique opportunity to own this car. It has been a difficult decision to choose to sell but it is time to move on to a new project.

I'm sure that in the right hands and with a little more development the car is capable of very impressive results if you're after something a little different.

Serious enquiries only please.
