The car was purchased by the present owner in 2013 for entry into the 2016 Peking to Paris Rally and was delivered to Dave Boucher of Historic Motorsport (Southwest) Ltd in March 2014. She was stripped to bare shell and rebuilt (with no expense spared) to World Cup Rally specifications and specifically for long-distance endurance rallying. The completed works cost over £73,000 and took 24 months – detailed receipts, correspondence and photos can be provided, but were not limited to:

Roof air intake installed for high-speed desert driving (filters air intake to cabin removing dust)
Included is a full tool kit specific to the car, jacks plus the same spares package carried on the P2P rally.

The car was entered in the 2015 Sahara Challenge finishing first in class and fifth overall from a total 40 entrants.

She was then stripped down, inspected and rebuilt again before completing the 2016 Peking to Paris Rally in which she maintained first in class and third place overall from a total 115 entrants until a hub spline sheared 7,000km into the event which ended her chances of a podium finish.

During both events the car performed perfectly – she is a pleasure to drive, handles beautifully and out-manoeuvred and out-performed every car in her class during the 40-odd stage rally sections of the Peking-Paris event.

This car is perfect for the serious competitor to enter any long distance / endurance competition and with minor modification to LSD/Gear ratio is also perfect for shorter stage events.

Car is currently stored in UK.
