Subaru Impreza WRX STI PPP 2003 Hillclimb / Track car / Rally car

Welcome to the listing of my very special and rare Subaru Impreza WRX STI 'Prodrive Performance Pack', professionally built competition / investment car.

Built over 18 months by Subaru Specialists, TDR (Thwaites Development Racing), In Warwick, using mainly RCM (Roger Clark Motorsports) components throughout, at vast expense (over £40k).

Essentially, the car has been built to take part in: Time Attack, Hill Climbing, Sprints, Track events, whilst remaining a very 'comfortable' (it actually is..although a bit noisy inside, from the fuel pumps mainly!) and incredibly quick road car.

It has lived inside a 'carcoon' at my home since being completed, only covering 700 miles in 6 years! (I know what a waste, but it's been loved not abused!).

It was built to give outstanding performance coupled with strength / reliability and longevity. I could have 'chased' power numbers, but decided that could always come later. Frankly, at 380bhp on Thwaites Development Racing's own Dyno (very accurate on figures), this machine is plenty quick enough!

For sure, for a few hundred pounds, the power could easily be increased to over 450, but for the little use that it has had, I have not really needed to. (upgrade FMIC and add tune for 20% methanol).

'Health Check' carried out at TDR on rolling road 19th September 2018.

Full MCA approved bolt in 'Safety Systems' roll cage
Removed interior rear of the car
Original dashboard (yes the stereo even works!)
Matching homologated race seats
6 point harnesses
Fire extinguishers front and rear
Driver / co-driver intercom system
Defi Gauges, (oil temp, boost and Oil pressure)

Exterior:

Standard, OEM bodywork in outstanding condition, including underneath.
WRC sticker kit

Suspension / wheels / brakes:
Adjustable BC coilovers all round.
Set up for road / track / tarmac use.
2 sets of black (one matt one gloss) racing alloys in perfect condition
1 set of road legal 'stickies'
1 set of road legal 'wets'
STI calipers with new discs allround.

To replicate a build of this car from scratch, with a newly sourced 'donor car', using the same highest quality components would cost in excess of £45k.
I am happy to introduce any interested party to Mark at TDR, who will go through the build of this car.
Use it, but cherish it, and this is a proper investment opportunity.
