Sierra RS Cosworth 2wd Whale Tale.

This car is like brand new condition, inspection is welcome. The previous owner wanted to create a turn key investment car to enjoy at the weekends, wash and put it away. Civilised motorsport driving with the comfort of power steering, full interior (stops all the rattles and helps with insulation) elec windows etc. Basically just use it like a road car !

Built to use on demonstration events, festival type rallies, rallying with Gp.B/Slowlysideways, trackdays, sprints etc…has previously been used on the Lombard (Bath 2019) rally, Raceretro. Genuine RS Cosworth V5C, original vin tags, MOT and Motorsport uk logbook, all genuine Ford bumpers, body kit, rear spoiler etc (not fibreglass copies). Cosworth interior, RS bronze glass, etc. The bodyshell is totally rust free … no previous damage, no weld repairs visible, the floor has all its original shape, A pillars, chassis etc are perfect, body panels are super straight, with good panel gaps. Ford diamond white fitted with period rally/race vinyl/stickers (which could easily be removed)

Original type bolt in triangulated roll cage, with bolt in door bars, strut braces etc. Has recently been fitted with a brand new Gp.A engine with various sensible upgrades, cams, verniers, bigger sump to cope with any oil serge during a spirited drive around a track etc and new 360 turbo. (currently fitted with blue hoses and cone filter- could be put back to black hoses and std airbox) 5 speed Borg Warner T5 and quick shift with works type red leather gearknob, 7.5″ LSD, Adj coil over dampers, Bias adjustable pedal box, hydraulic hand brake, 4 pot brakes, DS3000/2500 pads, aeroquip fuel and brake lines. Kevlar sump/gearbox and tank guards, Ford motorsport mag Speedline wheels.

The interior is very clean and tidy, fitted with pair of bucket seats mounted on fixed adjustable frames, and full harness belts (all in date). Carpet, rear seats (folded down like the old GpN rallycars) the dashboard has been flocked, fitted with Stack tacho and aux gauges, and switch panel, navigators trip meter, foot rests, suede steering wheel etc. All the above are just bolt on parts and could be removed at anytime in the future.
