Race Truck & Mobile Dyno FOR SALE One of the compnay partners is selling the following Tractor Unit – 4x2 Year 2001 Scania 4 Series (470 R124) Topline with Opti-Cruise Auto Box with tip-tronic style Shifting, Hill Climb Assistance (Give the Box more revs before changing so can climb hills while in Auto), Gearbox Retarder, Exhaust Brake, Air-con, Converted to Run on Super-singles on the “Steer” Axle. The tyres are virtually new on the steer and we have also replaced a number of tyres on the drive axle as well. It has x2 long range 700L tanks fitted – however we only ever use the LH side one but on trips to Europe we also used the RH one. Internally, we had the single bunk from behind the driver removed and a Third “jump” seat now sits behind the driver’s seat which allows three people to travel. The seat folds down and can be used as storage when not in use. The can still retains the “queen” sized bed above the main cabin. Serviced in September 2014 at 706000KM (It now has approx. 721000KM so had done very little since service) It had new pads & discs, a new caliper, sir tank straps and all your standard service items. It has just received its MOT and while there we also had the rear wing re-aligned and new straps fitted to the wing tops, the tractor also rides much better due to us changing the anti-roll bushes. To top it off we have also replaced both “Cheeks” these are still to be painted or can be left as is if the new owner is planning on re-wrapping the unit or re-painting her. It is currently blue but with a white wrap. Trailer / Workshop / Dyno / Motorhome This Wilson double deck trailer isn’t the youngest on the earth but she has always been looked after and have thousands spent on it. During our ownership, it has had a full repaint, following replacement of the rear ¼ after we found some corrosion, various new tyres (as expected), the brakes have all been re-lined, various airbags and air pipes, the tail lift was serviced, more recently a number of brake lines were also changes along with several of the self-levelling system components. We have always replaced what was needed without any quibble as this was a working trailer for us and had to be ready to use when we needed it. Lower Deck – Ground Floor. This area is split into two compartments. The front section is accessed via a side door and leads you into a workshop area that is fitted with several cupboards, sink and drainer and a hand wash & care station. Stairs lead to the first floor below which is the fresh water tank that is filled externally by a filler cap. The tank is approx. 1000L and has an overflow pipe in case you over fill with fresh water. The “swan neck” has two cupboards built into it for storage of items and also for sleeping if they were lined out in a more comfortable manner – but we have had people sleep in them as it. One side is split into two and had the Grey tank (approx. 2000l). The grey tank is large enough for a full race weekend with 6 people using water in the trailer. It does have an external overflow if you do over fill it. It is emptied via a valve on the inside. The rear section of the Trailer houses a large storage area and also the rolling road, along with the pole for the side awning. The rear is accessed from behind via a roller shutter door / Large Tail lift. First Floor. This area is in 4 sections. To the front is the “Bunk Room” that houses the air conditioning unit (and also heating) and 4 bunk beds. The Kitchen section has a oven, hob, several cupboards, running water, large fridge and a “breakfast bar”. The area below the breakfast bar is large enough to use with a single fold-out bed. In the “Middle” of the upper deck is an open area that can be used for socialising etc – technically it’s the upper hallway but is large enough to also carry several bikes – In fact the whole upper deck is littered with bike tie down points. The area has two cupboards – one that is storage and houses where the gas cylinder for the hob will fit, and the second is for the hot water system. There is also a door leading to the showroom. The room to the rear of the trailer has been used as storage but could have a number of uses – the tail lift rises to the level of the patio doors so this space can be used to carry bikes etc or used as a lounge area. DYNO The Dyno is a inertia dyno based on hardware and operating system of Datamite III by Performance trends (http://performancetrends.com/dtm-hdwe.htm). Its comes with a A/F monitor from Dynojet. There is a cooling fan to the front and also a suplimentary fan that would need replacing. We used this as a show dyno, diagnostic tool, mapping and also for use with Race clubs that have limited horse power classes. It is currently US due to a broken PC that we are working to fix or replace or the datamite software can be uploaded onto a laptop.... we have all the software and instruction for use. The sale also includes the framework and sheets for a full width side awning. There is a ½ height tail lift that travels from the bottom to the level of the first floor deck.
