Former Carl Haas Automobile Imports trailer, as used by the outfit to support the Superleague series in Europe and owned by Carl Haas Automobile Imports since 2010.

Formerly belonging to Carlin as their support truck to the World Series and sold to Carl Haas Automobile Imports by Hopkins motorsport in 2010 at more than double the present asking price.

Dry stored for much of its life since the series was decommissioned in 2012.

The trailer carries an MOT until Summer 2018, but would benefit from some work and outfitting to return to its former glory, as reflected by the price.

Exterior Specification Detailed Description:

All belly lockers operative on gas lift doors.

The front of the trailer has two cabinets which run the full width of the trailer and are accessible from both sides. Both lockers contain full length shelves and are deep enough to contain large items of bodywork.

Both sides of the trailer have 2 slide out draws, which when slid out have lift up lids to access.

The off side (LH looking down the trailer from the swan neck), contains 5 belly lockers that create the internal workshop bench. These lockers are roughly 1 metre squared and contain power outlets, air outlets and lights.

There are 2 lockers on the swan neck that run the full width, smaller than the others and only about 10 inches in height. The locker beneath the side entrance contains slide out steps that have a removable handrail.

The dome houses an air powered mast, hidden behind a roll up door. The generator is located below the swan neck at the front of the trailer. There is also a ladder either side of the dome for roof access.

The tail lift is full height, 2 stage, complete with personnel door.


Interior Detailed Description:

The interior is open planned double deck. The lower benches create an area for cars to be rolled on to, and the overhead lockers are capable of carrying cars to create double stacking.

Both sides of the trailer have 2 lots of full length over head lockers, operated on gas hinges. These will be used for parts storage. The top lockers are accessible by standing on the workshop tops. They also contain lights running the full length underneath.

Removable top deck to store large items of bodywork. This is placed down the rear of the trailer near the tailgate to still allow for easy access to the bottom deck. It is raised slightly for headroom, and made from 2 sections that slide into each other to allow for access to the top overhead lockers.

The tail gate end of the trailer has a full length cover, with a roll up compartment to allow for access via the door in the tail gate.

Running down the LH hand side of the trailer is a full length workbench made of chequered plate. This is the external belly lockers, and has (3) air outlets.

Down the RH side, is a full set of Listas 1 metre high, with varying draw sizes.

3 steps bring you up from the main workshop area and in to the ‘top deck’. The lower set of overhead lockers run right up to the top Listas, the upper set run all the way around the trailer.

Another small step brings you in to the office area, where a chequered plate work top runs all the way round. There are a set of Listas either side, one large set and the other 2 small sets.


At the end of the trailer is another double set of Listas, directly as you enter the side door on the RH side.
