Jaguar E-Type Low DragAdvert ID: 39416 POA
Jaguar E-Type Low Drag built using an original US spec E-Type Series 1 FHC, in 1989 Mr H-E Johansson imported the car into Sweden and undertook the ultimate project of creating a Low-Drag E-Type for competitive racing and road use.
It is clear with how the car stands today, that a great deal of thought and detail has gone into recreating the desirable Low-Drag. All stressed parts are made of steel, everything else in aluminium, and particular interest to the windscreen/door window surrounds, made from a single piece of aluminium each. Mr Johansson spent a great deal of time investigating each individual part for the possibility of weight saving, we have detailed photographic evidence of this.
A fine example of a Low Drag recreation, which remains highly competitive and ready for racing.
Valid to 2026, HTP FIA Papers are supplied with the car.
Recently competed in the 2017 Goodwood Members Meeting Graham Hill Trophy.
