Saab Special race car for H-mod series 1964

This sports racer was reportedly built by students at Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland, Oregon from 1963-1964 and raced in several Cascade Sports Car Club events throughout the next 18 years by Cal Watson, the president of the International Conference of Sports Car Clubs.

The car is in excellent running condition, 841cc Saab Monte Carlo two-stroke inline-three paired with a ZF four-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a roll bar, an ATL fuel cell, an aluminium fixed bucket seat with Crow harnesses, a fire suppression system, and polished 13” multi-piece wheels wrapped in Avon semi-slick tires.

A lot of engine spare parts and an additional complete fiberglass body panels are included.

An original logbook comes with the car.

Also, a lot of history exists.
