Cotton Competition are proud to be selling, on behalf of Active Ark, their Subaru Impreza STi Rally car.
The spec far exceeds a B13/GPN plus car.
We have maintained this car for the past three years during which time it has been 100% reliable.
Since the end of last season all major components have been fully rebuilt with no expense spared and all invoices available for inspection together with photographic records.
The car benefits from a Shift Tec compressed air system for the flat shift paddle gearchange. This compressed air system also actuates and controls the wastegate and EGR modules using turbo speed sensors not post restrictor pressure for more effective control. The system, as used on contemporary Touring Cars, maintains a target turbo speed and boost pressure without the concomitant pressure loss from springs. This system provides anti-lag without the need for a jacked open throttle.
The exhaust manifold, headers and EGR, to turbo pipework are titanium with stainless steel post turbo. The engineering on the gearchange, anti-lag, EGR, post-stage cooling systems were carried out by G&G Motorsport and provide ultra-smooth gear shifts, great driveability and control. Again, all invoices and photographic records are available.
The engine has had a major rebuild with new pistons, rods, valve train etc and the gearbox has been stripped and rebuilt. The turbo, Proflex, and Shiftec APS have all been returned to the manufacturers for rebuild. All running gear has been removed & rebuilt and the underneath and engine bay repainted. The car has done no competition miles since all the above works been carried out.
It’s ready to be rallied and Cotton Competition will be happy to maintain it for the new owner.
