This early “Big Healey” was delivered in December 1958 to Mr. G.G. Dewey, a pilot in he 86 Fighter Interceptor wing based in Germany and exported to the USA where it was road registered on 28 February 1959. The Heritage documentation includes the usual certificate as well as a warranty card in the name of Mr. Dewey.
The current owner bought the car from Mr. Dewey in 1997 and had the car shipped to The Netherlands. Upon arrival the car proved to be in highly original condition and only needed some mechanical repairs that were carried out by Robelco Car in The Netherlands. The only conversion was the installation of rear disc brakes and a removable roll over bar. All invoices since 1997 are included.
We prefer the looks of the car as it is without bumpers, but a new owner could easily choose to mount the original bumpers and luggage rack that are included in the sale. The Roll over bar can be removed easily.
