A car that has been competing and tackling the world’s greatest classic safari rally for well over a decade now. Legend. The Japanese market 180B SSS sedan (aka 610 SSS) was part of Datsun’s factory-backed, multi-car assault on the East African Safari Rally. This car, which tied for first place in 1973.

This particular Datsun 180B competed in the 10th Edition of the East African Safari Classic Rally in February of 2022 and finished 4th in class and 28th overall.

The 180B also competed in the recently concluded Mini Classic Rally staged around the gruesome and challenging Tugen and infamous Cherengani hills in the City of Champions, Eldoret, Kenya. Finished 1st in class and 19th overall.
