Hillman Avenger 3 door 1600 Rally Spec

This 1971 Hillman Avenger is an impressive classic rally car, which has been completely modified and outfitted for motorsport while remaining fully road legal.

Under the bonnet is a 1.6-litre inline-four, which is fed by a pair of twin Weber DCOE carburettors, producing 139bhp at the wheels.

This drives the rear wheels via a Ford ‘Rocket’ manual transmission with quick shift and a limited slip differential.

The car no longer features an odometer, and its mileage cannot be warranted in any case.
