FORD SIERRA COSWORTH GPN PERIOD RACE CAR – FIA HTP

Italian Sierra Cosworth Group N Touring Car  (FIA PAPERWORK PRESENT & HTP PASSPORT – end date 2025) 

Can be raced on international Historic Touring Car Events or other Classic Meetings, this is a genuine race ready Period Sierra Cosworth which is a perfect opportunity to run on a sensible budget (A fraction of GPA Car’s).

This Sierra was built and raced in Italy in 1986/7/8 by Gotti Racing, for use in the Italian Touring Car Championship Production Saloon Series to Group N Specification.  

It is a Genuine Ford Cosworth 909 Motorsport shell built to production spec by Ellio Gotti, with subtle modifications carried out using their extensive experience in preparing Group N and group A circuit and rally cars. 

Engine – group N modified YB 700 Kms since rebuild by Oppliger Motorsport 

Gearbox  – T5 rebuilt 700 Kms by Oppliger Motorsport 

Diff – 7.5” with plate type LSD internals recently rebuilt 

The chassis, suspension and installation is all very original and in good condition.

Having never been used on the road or rally,  it is rot free and cleans up incredibly well.  There is some evidence of minor crash damage to the LF as to be expected from a period racing car that has been repaired to a very high standard. 

Having just been sympathetically restored at Renown Touring Car Specialists Premier Motorsport.

Supplied with a New In date Corbeau Seat and Belts (fitted), New Fire System,
