Ford Escort Mk 2 BDG in Historic gravel spec

Due to no longer being involved in rallying, the car is now for sale. It is used but has only completed in a small number of rallies. It comes with a Motorsport UK identity passport. and V5 in my name. This car has been built with all the best quality parts either from Gartrac or RACE (Squares ). The car is not mint, but is solid and built to a high specification and is on the button ready to go.

Shell

Full Group 4 fabrication with all correct strengthening, including round turrets and bolt in Safety cage fitted and painted in Ford diamond white throughout.

Engine

Supplied by Blue Sky Engineering rally spec 245bhp (full spec on request). It has only completed in 2 rallies since being fitted. Simpson manifold and Tony Law pipe and backbox. Fully dry-sumped with braided hoses and anodised fittings throughout

Gearbox & Axle

Quaife 4 speed type E heavy duty gearbox (QBE2Z) with ZF alloy bellhousing fitted for quick release from RACE). RACE (Squares) built fully floating Atlas axle with 5.1 Motorsport diff and 5 linked.

Suspension & Brakes

Bilstein front wedge struts, AP Monte Carlo calipers, rear multi leaf 145IIb slipper springs supplied by Gartrac.

Interior

All switch panels in period form, Stack clocks, bestoke wiring loom, heater motor fitted and Gartrac peddlebox, seats and belts are still date Peltor intercom system and Branz trip meter, Ralloy fuel tank, Firesense plumbed in fire extinguisher system (Please note this will need servicing).

By separate negotiation, I have a spares package consisting of doors, bonnets, bootlids, glass, steering columns etc, also 25 plus wheels and tyres and Ivor Williams trailer.
