Mk2 Escort Unarched Road rally / Stage rally car

Original Ford Escort 1600 Sport, Unfinished project, starts & drives but needs wiring finishing and some final jobs doing. Built using BRAND NEW parts.

Bodyshell: Straight unarched shell, Full Safety Devices Roll Cage with diagonal & door bars, Steel panels & Glass all round. Auto tunnel fitted, anti tramp bars, gussetted, weld on strut brace etc.

Engine: 2045cc Pinto, Injection Head Ported with REC 882/1 Inlet Valves (Flow checked at 120cfm @ 10″) ARP Head Bolts, Standard Size Burton Exhaust Valves, Burton Alloy Cam Cover, Oil Breather Tank, Kent Cams GTS1 Camshaft Kit and Vernier Pulley, Polished Crankshaft and KING Bearings, 92mm Accralite Forged Pistons with 136mm Long Steel Conrods ARP Bolts, Steel Flywheel, HD Clutch (180HP), High Ratio Starter Motor, 45cc Chamber Size, 10.9 Compression Ratio, HP/HC Oil Pump (measuring 60 ft/lbs at start-up), Steel Sump with Magnetic Sump plug, Cometic Multi Shim Head Gasket, 94.5mm bore x 0.051. Competition lumenition (black box) and vibration coil. Tony Law Exhaust manifold, running on a Single 45 Weber DCOE on a Lynx inlet Manifold with weber Single carb Linkage. Zero miles !

Rear Axle: 4.4CWP, 3J Driveline NexG LSD Built by 3J workshop, 3J 2 piece halfshafts. LSD Oil, Disc Brakes on Rear with Stainless Braided Hoses and SS fittings, Handbrake Cable. Zero miles
