Ford Escort Mexico – Multi show-winning, magazine-featured, genuine AVO Mexico with an impressive mechanical specification.

Confirmed factory-built September 1973 by the AVO Club and first registered 19/10/1973, well known in local and national Ford and AVO circles
Believed to have been first campaigned by Motoring News between 1973 and 1975, acquired by its most recent keeper in 2000 and subsequently restored twice – once in 2002 and again in 2009
Fitted with a 1,640cc Kent Crossflow four-cylinder engine rebuilt by JEM engines and mated to a 4-speed Mexico-correct 2000E manual gearbox
Finished in Olympic Blue with a Custom Pack Recaro interior, the specification is a testament to the owner’s detailed knowledge of these cars

CATALOGUE CLOSING for our December Classic Sale at the Warwickshire Event Centre. All the vehicles entered to date are listed below and will be available to view along with their history files at the Warwickshire Event Centre on Friday 6th December from 12noon to 5pm and from 9am on Saturday 7th December until the auction commences at 12noon. Entrance to the sale is by catalogue only which will be available to purchase on arrival, £10 which admits two and includes free parking. The Cafe will be open on Saturday from 9am serving a variety of hot and cold food and drinks. Now is the time to register to bid by creating an account on the Iconic Auctioneers website, registration can also be done in person at the venue. For Friday use the main entrance (CV31 1XN) and for Saturday use the visitor entrance (CV31 1FE).
