Immaculate Mk 2 Escort for sale, the car has only done 2 tarmac rallies from new.

The shell was built by J D Rallysport, any panel that needed replacing was replaced resulting in a perfect shell, with sill jacking points and all the usual Group 4 modifications that would be expected, a T45 tig welded custom cages historic spec roll cage was fitted so if required the car could be converted to Historic specification.

The shell was professionally painted inside and out Ford Frozen white.

The engine is a Anderson built 2.0 XE with 120 miles since a complete rebuild, running on carburettors, the engine is dry sumped producing around 265 bhp.

Gearbox is a 5 speed Type 9 box with straight cut Quaife internals.

The axle is a fully floating 5 linked Atlas that was new from GP4 Fabrications as were the majority of the suspension parts when the car was built, again having covered aprox  120 miles from new .

Brake are all AP calipers and discs with an adjustable pedal box and hydraulic handbrake .

The whole car was dry built before it was painted and includes all you would expect from a quality car including all braided lines, a motorsport lightweight loom by WRC controls, a GPS tripmeter, kevlar underbody protection and electric power steering.

The extinguishers have been serviced recently and the seat belts have 3 years life although the seats will need to be replaced in 2025. The car comes with a full years  MOT and a MSA passport.

The car also comes with 10 x 15 in genuine Minilites which have both dry and wet tyres.

This car has never been in the forests and is immaculate both inside and out.
