Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi Rally Car

Built as project/demonstration car, J 777 BHP is genuine non-sunroof 1.9 GTi from 1992.

Constructed from a road car, the car features an uprated engine mated to a BE3 gearbox incorporating a limited slip differential and uprated driveshafts.  Challenge specification engine and gearbox mounts installed.  Uprated fuel pump and regulator feeds the standard injection unit and the standard manifold is fitted to a PTS exhaust system.

A brand new Safety Devices bolt in cage was installed as part of the build and the shell strengthened to meet the demands of competition.

Challenge specification Bilstein front and rear suspension is fitted, as well as uprated/adjustable lower arms and strengthened subframes.

Standard GTi brakes are operated through a bias pedal box and a hydraulic handbrake has been added.  The car sits on genuine 15″ Speedline wheels powder coated in grey secured by PTS wheel stud/nut conversion.

Alloy PTS style sump and tank guards are fitted.

Hella Lamp Pod and fitted indoor car cover is included in the sale.

With only three short rallies entered, condition is immaculate but the car will require updating to meet 2025 stage rally regulations (seats, belts and extinguisher etc).

Huge spares package (engine, gearboxes, guards, suspension, panels, 14 matching wheels etc.) will be made available by separate negotiation to the successful purchaser.
