Renault 5 Turbo 1 ‘Tour de Corse’ period spec rally car for sale on behalf of a customer

Upgraded to this spec by its first owner after it was built by Renault France.

Really nice period French history and also driven by Jean Ragnotti as course car on Rallye Regional des Bauges in 2010.

The car was rallied very succesfully by four French drivers during its 20 or so years of competition in France scoring many wins and podium positions until it was retired in 2003 and after this only used as a course car on four events.

The car was bought by an English collector and entrusted to GTO Engineering for a mechanical rebuild and a paint refresh. The car was then bought by us for a customers collection in 2015 and during this time has only been used on UK demonstration events such as Race Retro and Rally Day and proven to be a very fast and reliable ‘pocket rocket’.

The car is UK registered and has a current V5.
