Description
Subaru Impreza WRX GD N12 (B13-spec) – An outstanding opportunity to acquire a Prodrive-built Subaru Impreza with zero hours on the engine and all transmission.
This car is based on a 2005 Prodrive built, right-hand drive Subaru Impreza WRX GD N12 (build number N12/PRO/06 and serial number DBGBGD/003) that has been professionally converted to B13 specification by TEG Motorsport. It originally competed under the registration number, H4 RAB, when driven by Robert Marshall during the 2019 and 2020 season but returned to its original registration number, AL55 MJR, when acquired by our vendor in 2021. He purchased the car with the sole purpose of competing in the circuit-based Winter Rally Championship, a ‘tarmac’ series with stage lengths of between 50-60 miles per event.
Our vendor, an experienced gentleman driver, wanted the car upgraded to full B13 specification including the latest ‘flappy paddle’ six-speed Modena gearbox and fully active differentials with programmable mapping. Under the auspices of the well-known Dansport Rally Team, he has campaigned the Impreza fairly lightly and in no more than 8 events during his ownership with Dansport maintaining the car fully throughout this time.
During 2025 it was returned to TEG Motorsport who rebuilt the engine completely and it is offered today with zero miles, just dyno running time. There is a copy of the Dyno print-out confirming an output of 330bhp. At the same time, they also rebuilt the 6-speed 6 speed Modena transmission and fitted a new clutch, a sport spec WRC Turbo, Intercooler and radiator, all new in 2025. Even the fully active differential was rebuilt by TEG and is now fitted with fully programmable mapping, as well as new GKN WRC driveshafts. The exhaust manifold was also replaced with a new stainless steel version fitted. All this work has been completed with zero running since completion. The car sits on 3-way adjustable Reiger dampers all round and the Premier competition fuel bag tank is in date until 2027.
Generously included in the sale is a substantial quantity of spares as can be seen from our images. These include half a dozen flight cases containing spares for the front and rear suspension, hubs, clutch, brakes, turbo, electrical, wheels and a large number of tyres, representing a significant outlay and making today’s guide price seem remarkable value.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a competitor to take advantage of a professionally built and maintained, serious rally car that is ‘turn key’ ready to compete and priced to sell today.
