Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 FIA Historic Rally Car

I’ve decided to put up for sale my 80% completed FIA Historic full spec Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI GPA, PTS 6 speed, which I’ve been slowly building for 3 years with the aim to do FIA Historic asphalt events.

However due to another Porsche 911 project I’ve taken on board, which means I’m not going to get anywhere near completing the 205 for another 12months.

The photos speak for themselves regarding the specification but a quick general spec is;

1) Prepfab built full GPA lightweight bodyshell to homologated regs. with all permitted strengthening in the correct places, including the subframe, period multipoint Safety Devices FIA roll cage.
Built from a genuine rust free non sunroof GTI, chassis plate and number all correct on the logbook in my name.

2) I built this with the intention to be using on smooth asphalt events so I fitted some very well developed race Koni adjustable suspension from a race car I had, included the rear anti roll/torsion bars, again study the photos for details.

3) Engine is a correct 1.9 GPA, I did not build it from scratch, however I did check the bottom end and as per the photos it has the correct Group A baffle and ARP big end bolts and everything else you would expect.PTS Works engine and gearbox mounts.

4) Correct Historic FIA PTS 6 speed gearbox from the later 306 variant,much better and stronger,inspected and all perfect,asphalt LSD.PTS factory spec engine and gearbox mounts fabricated by Prepfab from the original drawings.

5)full GPA AP brakes and pedal box,4 pots front and 2 pots rear,see photos.
