Vauxhall Astra ‘Group N’ GSI 2.0 16V

Engine – Standard c20xe with standard ECU. Timing belt, alternator and power steering belts changed, new plugs – all 100 stage miles. Stainless four branch manifold with stainless exhaust system. Oil and filter changed before Jim clark. Rear HHMS engine mount, new front engine and gearbox mount fitted with polybush inserts.

Gearbox/Diff- Quaife SCCR f20 gearbox with 4.8 CWP Rebuilt 100 stage miles ago. Brand new Gripper plated diff with new diff bearings and seals fitted. Sump pan modified with drain plug. Fresh oils before Jim Clark rally. Gear linkage pivot bush’s made from nylon. Driveshafts stripped checked and regreased with GKN grease – ALL 100 stage miles. AP 4 paddle clutch plated relined and new release bearing 50 stage miles.

Shell- 6 point bolt in cage with harness bar and extra triangulation to front struts, new outer sills, drivers rear arch and front lower panel. New spec FIA bolt in seat rails fabricated and fitted, all items have captive fixings welded in. Freshly painted, inside and out including engine bay and arches – all panels were stripped bare and done properly – this wasn’t a mask up lights and windows and a closed door paint job. Roof vent, Wheel tray and carbon foot tray/Nav rest. Lightened doors with the NEW ACW front side windows with slider kits. Rear windows are glass – standard glass and window mechanisms included for the front. Shell is now solid as was stripped to almost a bare shell and put on a spit for any work required and raptored in below. Alloy tank guards fitted with alloy front guard with Kaylan side flaps. Full GSI kit. Front sill tubes (only) fitted – 19mm pins.

Suspension – Front HHMS Bilstein strut conversions with 2 ¼ inserts, Alloy rose jointed top mounts. Standard front arms with poly bushes, new rear axle poly bushes fitted. Koni rear shockers with lowering springs fitted. Front strut brace in engine bay.

Brakes- Front is on Vauxhall v6 callipers with ‘C-hooked’ discs, Ferrodo ds2500 pads – 100 stage miles. Rear is GTE 2 pot callipers and solid discs, New rear wheel bearings (50 stage miles). New copper/nickel brake lines on a standard M/c with servo blanked (servo new 50 stage miles). Hydraulic handbrake with bias valve inside car.

Fuel System – new fuel lines fitted throughout on PTFE lined pipe and AN fittings, fuel pump box in boot with new high pressure pump and filter setup.

Electrics – New battery isolator, battery cables and fuel/fan circuits with new wiring to alternator and coil etc so very reliable, a lot of the loom was freshly taped and tidied up. New battery fitted – ALL 50 stage miles.

Extra – Drivers seat in date till end of the year, belts in date – REQUIRES PASSANGER SEAT. Alloy seat rails. Stilo Intercom. Brand new hand held extinguisher before Jim Clark, Plumbed in serviced last year, new pull cords fitted. New heater matrix fitted. Front Wheel arch liners fitted, door and rear ¼ cards made from Kaylan plastic – behind sealed up to prevent dust and moisture getting in. Bigger radiator fitted. Stud and nut conversion all round

Spares – The car will come with 6x Corsa C wheels in silver and two white tigra wheels, 4x white compomotives included.

V5 and new MSAUK Passport included.
