Escort Cosworth 7.5″ rear diff viscus LSD rebuild service, the original Sierra and Sapphire 2WD viscus coupling LSD units are rated to 80NM, our service increases the pressure to 300NM the same as the original works 909 GPA cars, it is sold on an exchange system and includes viscous fluid and seals any broken or worn out parts are extra,
this service includes
pre-strip disassembly dyno check
strip and check and clean of all parts
replace viscous fluid
replace inner and outer seals
re-assembly and pressure test
as you can see from photo’s number 3 & 4 hard use of a viscus coupling LSD units with only 80NM increases the heat and wear rate, pumping the LSD up to 300NM increases its tolerance of heat damage and wear,
a good quality or low mileage viscus unit is required to achieve the best results
