What details should always be included in my advert?
Buyers of Race and Rally cars care about very specific things:
1. Engine spec (this is EVERYTHING)
- BDG / BDA / Millington = premium
- Pinto = budget end
2. Shell quality
- Genuine Historic shell vs reshell
- Fabrication quality (turrets, cage, seams)
3. Provenance
- Race or Rally history, logbooks, results
- Who built it (this matters a lot)
4. Photos (massively underrated)
- Underside
- Engine bay
- Cage and fabrication
- Close-ups of details
Most sellers undersell their car by not showing this properly.
