Escort BDG Mk2 Appendix K (Bob Dowen)

Up for sale is a 2.0l BDG Appendix k FIA Historic Mk11 Escort. This car has undergone a complete shell refurb, every part has been refurbed or replaced if required. The shell is fabricated by Bob Dowen and has never been damaged. The underside has received 3 coats of coloured Raptor for further protection, with a fresh paint job.

Spec.

2.0 all steel BDG running on twin 48 Webers. The engine was rebuilt 300 stage miles ago with 4 new pistons, big end and main bearings and head shimmed, (all parts purchased from Sherwoods).

Simpson bespoke exhaust system with removable middle box on v-bands

Gearbox is a 4 speed Tracsport with lightweight aluminium casing purchased new from Steve Perks 300 stage miles ago.

Suspension is in tarmac set up with rear slipper springs and narrow platform coil overs to front.

Rear Atlas axle with 4:6 crown wheel and pinion with modena diff. (Replaced 300 stage miles ago)

AP historic calipers with vented discs. Fronts have Monte Carlo set up.

Extinguisher’s have one year left before servicing. The car will require new seats and belts before stage use.

New steel front and rear bumpers with new PIAA headlight kit and grill.
