Escort Mk 1 Full Historic car with papers.

Beautiful mk 1 Escort, recently rebuilt from a bare shell, completed The RAC with some very respectable times.

Its had 2 new wings recently and fully repaired to a high standard, no expenses spared. yes it rolled on the RAC but luckily it rolled in the air and landed on its feet and didn’t touch the roof or pillars at all, got away with that one! just touched the 2 wings.

car has low mileage on all components after a full rebuild. miles as follows

engine built by connaght 273 bhp ( 450miles)

gearbox 4 speed track sport brand new (400miles)

fully floating axle with ZF brand new (400miles)

new AP rear calipers (50 miles)

racing pads all round (50 miles)

cross member, rack, tca’s, twin cam roll bar, steering column, exhaust system, font legs and insterts, wheel bearings, steering arms all new (350 miles)

Ap twin plate clucth (50miles)

slave cylinder (20Miles)

new altenator (0 miles) this was the cause of our DNF last time out so will be replaced with brand new.

new heated screen, all fuse less dash on breakers

trip meter and time clock, all oils and fluids will be fresh and ready to rally.

stunning car and goes real well! reason for sale is i’m going back to a modern car on the tar but have absolutely loved it!

comes in gravel set up but but tarmac set up included with tension struts etc.

extinguishers just serviced so 2 years left on them

seats and belts have long dates
