Escort RS1800 Group 4

Escort RS1800 Rally car – Built from brand new parts, pristine condition throughout, dry stored and unused.

Shell: Built by Neil Allport Motorsport to a high standard using fabrication parts from Gartrac (4 link, Panard rod, Turrets, Arch’s, Spoiler etc etc) Tig welded T45 lightweight roll cage and finished with immaculate red paintwork inside and out with the iconic Cossack livery. Steel panels and original glass with perfect panel gaps etc

Engine: 2.0 BDG engine, nickel seal alloy block, all brand new from Dave Aby/ KAM castings. Usual spec all steel, dry sump, twin 48 webers.

Transmission: Brand new ZF 5 speed race gearbox, 2.3 first and direct top gear ratios. Was a brand new gear kit fitted into an original donor ZF casing. New Gartrac hyd bell housing, Single propshaft, New F/Floating Atlas axle with 5.1 LSD, diff guard and dural brace.

Suspension & Brakes: New Ap 4 pot front brake calipers with matching discs and bells, New Ap 2 pot (cp2383) with matching Ap discs. Gartrac Bias pedal box, hyd hand brake etc. Gartrac Alloy hubs front and rear with gp4 studs. New Gartrac adjustable 4” platform struts with Bilstein inserts and 190lb springs, new Gartrac tension strut kit with anti roll bar, new rear Bilsteins and 145lb slipper springs.

Other: All new Gartrac WCXM & steering rack, strengthened steering arms, chassis mounted sump guard, oil and fuel tanks, twin fuel pumps, large alloy radiator, full dash VDO instrumentation, 8 & 9” Minilite wheels, the list goes on … a beautiful retro/period type build using all new branded parts professionally put together by a motorsport company. Dry Stored and not used in anger … starts/drives on the key but would recommend a service before any spirited use.
